Chess Programming

Chess is in our name for a reason. Our chess programming introduces young people to the game as a tool for thinking — strategy, patience, and seeing several moves ahead. Sessions welcome beginners and growing players alike.

  • Beginner-friendly instruction
  • Strategy and critical thinking through play

Note: Program schedule and locations are being finalized — check back soon or contact us for details.

Arts & Education

Community-rooted arts programming — from visual art and murals to cultural workshops — that gives Springfield residents, especially young people, ways to express who they are and where they come from. Our programs connect creative practice with learning and leadership.

  • Community art and cultural programming
  • Youth-focused creative workshops
  • Student mural season runs September–January

Note: Specific 2026–2027 offerings are being planned — contact us to learn what's coming.
